Keiki Storytime

E heluhelu kākou! Join us as Jolie reads nā puke (books) that teach our keiki about Hawaiian values, language, and culture in a fun and meaningful way. Parents and caregivers are warmly invited to read along, learn together, and continue these conversations at home. Keiki of all ages are welcome to listen, laugh, and imagine through story. Come spend quality time as a ʻohana, nurturing a love for reading and ʻike Hawaiʻi together.

Keiki Craft Night: Dioramas

Register your keiki today for a fun and hands-on creative experience with KALO HCC! Keiki will explore stories from Kilo Books Hawaiʻi and bring them to life by creating their very own diorama. This activity encourages imagination, storytelling, and connection to culture in a joyful, supportive space.

A small registration fee of $5 per keiki helps cover supplies and light refreshments. Spots are limited, so we encourage families to sign up early to reserve a space for their keiki!

Each week, participants will prepare delicious, low-sodium recipes, learn practical skills to reduce hypertension risk, and connect cultural knowledge with everyday wellness.

This series is for all ages and all skill levels - perfect for keiki, kūpuna, and everyone in between! We will focus on simple, affordable, ʻohana-friendly meals you can actually make at home.
