The Community Mala (Garden) Support (CGS) of Ka ʻAha Lāhui O ʻOlekona Hawaiian Civic Club of Oregon and SW Washington (KALO HCC) is responsible for the development, protection, and enhancement of KALO HCCʻs mala (dry land taro patch) primarily at The Oregon Food Bankʻs (OFB) Community Learning Garden in NE Portland, Oregon. This position would also assist with satellite locations throughout the Portland Metro & Tri-County Areas.
Community Health Worker

The Community Health Worker (CHW) of Ka ʻAha Lāhui O ʻOlekona Hawaiian Civic Club of Oregon and SW Washington (KALO HCC) is responsible for the development, interaction and enhancement of health building and awareness in the Pacific Islander and Native Hawaiian community. This position will focus on KALO HCC being present in community health initiatives and programs that increase public health care and visibility for Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities.

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) of Ka ʻAha Lāhui O ʻOlekona (KALO HCC) is established to provide guidance, cultural grounding, and community-centered insight to support the mission, vision, and values of KALO HCC. The CAB ensures that organizational initiatives, programs, and partnerships reflect the voices, priorities, and needs of the communities we serve in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Kūpuna Council
The Kūpuna Council of Ka ʻAha Lāhui O ʻOlekona (KALO HCC) is established to provide guidance, cultural grounding, and community-centered insight to support the mission, vision, and values of KALO HCC. The Kūpuna Council ensures that organizational initiatives, programs, and partnerships reflect the voices, priorities, and needs of the communities we serve in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
