KALO HCC is a membership-based organization, meaning that our members are what powers us! For more information on how to become a member and what a membership entails, please see below!

Membership Process

There is a $25 initiation fee for all new members. Initiation fee is a ONE TIME fee and will be applied to all new membership at checkout. This initiation fee does not apply to renewals. MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

Membership (Makua 18+) - $35

A regular member shall be entitled to vote at all meetings of the membership, to be nominated for, be elected to, and hold office, to serve on committees to which he/she is appointed, and to participate in all of the organization’s activities.

Haumāna (Full-time 18+) - $20

A student at a recognized school or college is entitled to vote at all meetings of the membership, to be nominated for, be elected to, and hold office, to serve on committees to which he/she is appointed and to participate in all of the organization’s activities.

Kupuna (Elders 60+) - $15

A kupuna member is entitled to vote at all meetings of the membership, to be nominated for, be elected to, and hold office, to serve on committees to which he/she is appointed and to participate in all of the organization’s activities.

ʻOhana (Family 2A/2C) - $60

A family membership consist of (no more than) 2 Adults and 2 Children. Adult members shall be entitled to vote at all meetings of the membership, to be nominated for, be elected to, and hold office, to serve on committees to which he/she is appointed, and to participate in all of the organization’s activities. Members 16+ are voting members.
